1. Pre-installation Preparation

Tools & Materials: Fence, hot-dip galvanized posts, buckles/galvanized binding wires, shovels, hammers, tape measures, tension wires
Site Arrangement: Remove weeds, stones and soil piles along the installation route to ensure a smooth and tidy laying path. There is no need to level sloped land, as the anminal fence is highly flexible and can fit the terrain naturally.

2. Accurate Line Setting & Positioning

Plan the fence route according to land enclosure and zoning requirements. Fix two ends and pull a straight tension wire to ensure a neat and straight overall fence. For conventional pasture installation, keep the post spacing around 8 feet . Reduce the spacing appropriately in terrain with large undulations to improve overall stability.

3. Embedding and Fixing Posts (Core Step)

1. Place the posts vertically, adjust the level and verticality at marked positions, then hit the post down into the ground with harmmer or other helpers.
2. Install reinforced corner posts and end posts for the fence to bear the tension of the mesh and avoid long-term stress deformation.

4. Mesh Laying and Fixing

1. Unroll the grassland fence along the post line and lay it flat without distortion or wrinkles. Note the two mesh designs: Install the wide-top and narrow-bottom mesh with the narrow side downward, so the small bottom holes fit the ground tightly and prevent lambs and young livestock from escaping. Uniform mesh has no direction limit and can be laid directly.
2. Fix one end of the mesh first, then stretch the mesh evenly to keep the surface flat with moderate tightness. Do not over-tighten to reserve buffer space for terrain settlement.
3. Fasten the mesh joints firmly to the posts with special buckles or galvanized binding wires. Fix evenly from top to bottom to ensure the mesh fits closely to the posts without looseness.

5. Mesh Splicing and Final Finishing

Overlap and splice adjacent mesh rolls with an overlapping length of 10–15 cm. Bind densely with binding wires to eliminate gaps and prevent livestock from escaping.
Check and correct the whole fence after installation: straighten tilted posts, tighten loose mesh and trim excess wire ends to ensure the fence is straight, firm and neat overall.

6. Installation Tips for Longer Service Life

1. Keep the bottom mesh close to the ground, and raise it appropriately in low-lying areas to prevent livestock and hares from entering or escaping.
2. Hot-dip galvanized animal fence requires no paint or anti-rust maintenance, resisting rust and damage under long-term wind and rain exposure.
3. Reinforce corner and end posts in livestock breeding areas to resist long-term impact from cattle and sheep, keeping the fence undeformed and weld-intact.

7. Application Scenarios

Suitable for pasture rotational grazing zoning, cattle and sheep farm enclosure, farmland and orchard isolation, mountain forest protection, sloped land enclosure, ecological grassland isolation and other scenarios for independent construction and installation.
